Reflections from my first ChannelCon

Just back from ChannelCon this week – what a great event and the timing was perfect! With more than 1,000 channel partners, vendors and influencers in attendance, ChannelCon unexpectedly became a great crash course for me on the state of the IT channel.

It was also an awesome venue for us to network, learn from and listen to our partners and prospects face-to-face. I met a ton of great people and appreciated their hospitality and warmth. My only regret was not being able to stay for the Richard Petty Experience – from the looks of the pics blowing up all over Facebook and Twitter it had to be just awesome!  

All in all my time at ChannelCon was a great experience from all angles. I walked away with a lot of valuable insight, actionable ideas and meaningful relationships. So many, that I thought it would be cool to share a few of my key takeaways from the event. These are in no particular order…
