The majority of IT service providers (ITSPs) are doing an outstanding job delivering security solutions to their customers. However, as the saying goes: “The cobbler’s children have no shoes.”
There may be no better example of this than how service providers are implementing password security and technician access management for the hundreds or thousands of client passwords they use every day. Password security and access management for both your own technicians and client credentials could be the largest flaw in the MSP services stack today.
ITSPs are starting to take a second look and mature their internal security processes in order to better serve and protect their customers, though.
