Congratulations to the February 2015 class of Intronis Certified Partner Technicians! It’s only been a few months since we opened the doors to Intronis University, and enrollment is already quite strong. We’ve got nearly 150 students in the training program, and their feedback has been great so far.
As we get ready to send out the latest set of framed certificates to technicians, let’s review some of the progress we’ve made since we officially launched this training program in December.
- 25 partners have achieved “Intronis University Certified Partner Technician” (ICPT) Level 1 status. This means that the technician has successfully completed the eight Core modules, and indicates that they have built the technical foundation to address their customer’s day-to-day needs.
- 60 Partners have achieved both Level 1 and Level 2 ICPT status. This means that they have not only demonstrated their understanding of the fundamentals but have successfully passed at least two of the Advanced Elective modules.
- An additional 57 Partners are currently working toward their certifications. We are seeing more Partners join each week. If you haven’t checked it out yet, definitely log into Intronis Essentials today to check it out!
- 18 Partners have taken courses within the Business Track. These currently include sections on Positioning, Pricing, and Selling your cloud backup and data protection solution.
A growing curriculum
When we launched, we announced that we would kick things off with two main tracks: the Technician Track and the Business Track. Our most recent updates were made to the Technician Track, which is split into Core modules and Advanced Elective modules. All-new modules on Intronis’ integrations with Autotask and ConnectWise are now available along with the other advanced elective modules, which include training on Hyper-V, VMware, and Imaging as they relate to Intronis backup and data protection solutions.
What’s next for Intronis University?
Aside from adding new modules to the overall curriculum, we have plans to roll out a new certification program. Students currently have the ability to achieve “Intronis University Certified Partner Technician” status, but we know there is considerable interest in with a Sales and Marketing focuformalized Sales and Marketing. Formalizing the current Sales and Marketing curriculum into a certification program is definitely on the horizon, for those who are wondering. Stay tuned for updates on this!
