Several months ago, I took a trip to Chicago to visit with a few Intronis partners in the area. I was joined by our VP of Partner Success Jasmine Lombardi, and our goal was to re-connect with these partners and find out what Intronis could be doing to better serve them.
We learned a lot about the features, services, and support our partners want, but one message in particular really resonated with me. It involved MSPs’ need to save time and money by consolidating all of their data protection tools with one solution.
One partner put it very succinctly, saying "Give me one product… a single dashboard… the same tool that does everything."
I found his statement very compelling, because it fit in line with what Intronis has been working to deliver for the past several years now.
We already have the channel’s best web-based data backup management console, and we've been making product additions and refinements to help our partners dial back the number of tools they use on an every day basis.
However, it became clear to me that to truly be our partners’ single-source provider for data protection and recovery, a bigger shift was in order.
As a provider, we need to do more to empower MSPs with the tools they need to offer complete data recovery to their SMB customers. And our partners need the ability to customize their data protection offerings on a client-by-client basis.
The big news is we’re taking a major step in that direction this spring.
Our upcoming Spring Release '14 will be our largest to date, significantly expanding the coverage of our data protection abilities. It will introduce dynamic new tools and products managed services providers can use to completely safeguard more of their clients’ data.
The new release represents a major step forward in our product road map, but it also sets the table for changes we plan to roll out this year.
We intend to introduce a new central data protection platform, which MSPs will be able to package and re-sell to their clients based on their desired level of data protection. You will be able to scale up the level of protection you sell based on your clients’ appetite for risk and factors such as cost and recovery needs.
And on top of that, we will introduce new services and support options that will make it easier and more cost-effective for you to on-board clients with Intronis and grow the number of SMBs you protect with our solution.
The best part? We will offer all of this – the new products, services, and backup support – with the same convenient web portal our partners already use.
That means a single pane of glass for everything data protection.
And a complete platform that can be re-branded for your business, that delivers the reporting you need to monitor backups, and that includes integrations with the channel’s leading RMM and PSA providers.
Our vision for a new Intronis is one that will help MSPs deliver recovery to SMBs with minimal investment. It’s one that offers a broad range of data protection across devices with one platform. And it provides an easily scalable revenue opportunity tailor-made for your clients’ recovery needs.
This is the way forward for our business. It’s a direction we knew we wanted to take, and in talking to our partners, it’s one we know MSPs can truly benefit from. It starts in a big way this spring.
