I just returned from XChange Solution Provider 2015, a three-day conference held in Dallas, and I must say, we closed out our calendar of Q1 events with a bang! While we didn't get any reprieve from the winter weather, we were happy to be in Texas with our channel peers and had some interesting conversations along the way.
About 250 IT solution providers attended the event, and we were happy to see some of our own partners' familiar faces and catch up with them.
Intronis Recharge Lounge returns
This marks the second time we sponsored the Recharge Lounge. This designated area gave attendees a space to catch-up on work, take phone calls, and of course—charge their phones, tablets, and laptops. A large charging station and multiple plugs were spread throughout the room, giving many solutions providers a comfortable spot to get some work done.
As an added bonus, the Lounge was close to the coffee station too, providing us all some extra fuel throughout a jam-packed day of presentations.
The Intronis team included myself along with co-founder and VP of Channel Development, Neal Bradbury, our CMO Aaron Dun, and our Regional Sales Director, Eric Winn. Together we welcomed everyone to the space and struck up conversations about our Winter Release ’15 (more on that tomorrow!), imaging capabilities, and integration offerings. And of course—no one left without one of our Data Loss Gremlin T-shirts (which came in handy for a few attendees whose bags were unable to make the trip!).
Neal presented in two different boardroom sessions, Managed Services and Cloud Services. In these smaller break-out discussions, he walked attendees through the Intronis Winter Release ‘15, Intronis ECHOplatform, ECHOshare, and our U3 pricing packages. A few other hot topics for the attendees were Intronis University, Intronis Essentials, and the Partner Tool Kit.
It was great to hear our partners' excitement around our new pricing model. Many also mentioned that they were looking forward to getting their backup techs certified through Intronis University. What I liked best about these boardrooms was the ability to get direct feedback from partners sitting right next to us.
The second boardroom focused on the topic of Intronis ECHOshare. We answered a lot of questions, and are pleased that so many people are eager to learn more. As always, this face-to-face interaction with our partners proved valuable for us and hopefully them, too. Thank you to all of our partners for stopping by and chatting with us!
