I just got back from a week jam-packed with great events, and I wanted to share a few highlights with all of you!
Along with a few of my colleagues from here at Intronis, I started the week off by attending ConnectWise User Groups in Orange County, California, and Philadelphia. These were a great opportunity for us to sit down one-on-one with ConnectWise users and give them an in-depth look at how the Intronis integration with ConnectWise works.
Philly was a change of location for an event that’s usually held in Baltimore, and it felt like it brought in more people, which I loved because it gave us a chance to meet even more of our Partners.
We wrapped up the week with the latest stop on the Intronis i360 tour, which give Partners and prospects an inside look at the company. People who attended got a sneak peak at our 2015 road map and got to meet our CEO Rick Faulk and co-founder Neal Bradbury.
Fixed-price success story
One of my favorite parts of the event was the presentation from Rob DeVitis of The Logic Group, a full-service IT and network services provider serving veterinary hospitals, doctors’ offices, construction companies, pharmaceutical companies and non-profit organizations in the Philadelphia area.
He explained that he switched to Intronis after some early disappointments with other cloud backup services. According to Rob, since moving to Intronis’ fixed-price plan in July last year, his company has seen improved margins, had an easier time budgeting and planning, and signed several large new accounts, including a 300-seat medical practice. He said his clients are happy, and that’s what matters.
We also recognized two long-term partners who made it out to i360: Gear 3 Technologies, a 10-year partner; and SRMS Network Technologies, a nine-year partner. It was great to see them at the event, still eager to learn new things.
Up close and personal
The evening wrapped up with free time to network and to get more hands-on personal interactions. Jasmine Lombardi, our VP of Partner Success walked people through a calculator that helps determine if a fixed-price solution is right for them. Plus, Kyle Marsan, one of our Partner support engineers, did walkthroughs of the system and different types of backups to give people who were interested a closer look.
All in all, I think it was a fun and informative event, and our new late afternoon format, kicking off at 4:30 p.m. so everyone could still get in a pretty full work day, seemed to really resonate with everyone. I’m sure we’ll be bringing it to other stops on our i360 tour. Stay tuned!
