You’ve probably noticed that we recently updated both our logo and our name. The new logo gives our branding a fresh look, but it also tells a story about who we are as an organization.
Let me explain.
We are now Intronis MSP Solutions by Barracuda. The difference is subtle, but I think it sends a few important messages to both our MSP partners and the IT channel.
1. We’re still “all in” for MSPs
As Intronis MSP Solutions by Barracuda, we remain dedicated to helping managed service providers protect small to medium-sized businesses and their data. In fact, MSPs are such a key part of how we do business that we decided to put it in our name to make our commitment clear. We will continue to focus on providing services and solutions built around how MSPs operate and designed to help our channel partners drive business growth. We want to build true partnerships by giving MSPs the tools they need to succeed.
2. We’re expanding beyond cloud BDR
Intronis started out as a file-and-folder backup company. Over the past few years we’ve evolved to provide a wider variety of solutions, from physical imaging and bare metal restore to backup and recovery for virtual machines. As the next step in our journey to becoming the single-source provider of data protection for MSPs, we recently introduced our first appliance offering, Barracuda Backup – Intronis MSP Edition. This subscription-based hardware solution gives MSPs greater flexibility to choose the data protection option that works best for each of their customers. We’re not just cloud backup and recovery anymore. We want our brand to demonstrate that.
3. We have a growing synergy with Barracuda
Barracuda has very strong brand recognition both in North America and internationally. As part of the Barracuda family, we wanted to position our brand in a way that would allow us to leverage that effectively. We’re also working closely with the rest of the Barracuda team to address the increasing data protection needs of MSPs and their customers. Barracuda Backup – Intronis MSP Edition is a direct result of this growing synergy. I look forward to the additional MSP-optimized offerings we will bring to market.
The MSP market is growing rapidly as SMBs’ data protection and security demands increase. We’re excited to work alongside our channel partners to help meet these expanding needs and ensure that no business fails due to data loss or an IT security breach. Our brand and our logo may have changed, but our commitment to this goal and to our MSP partners remains the same.
